Desk Lamps

Desk lamps are an essential office item. Being able to concentrate while working or reading comes down to good table lighting.

They now come in a huge variety with dimmer switches, LED lamps and even touch and sound sensitive controls.

When deciding on your desk lamp, keep the following in mind:

-Choose how much light you want, whether it’s a corner of your desk and/or office or the whole area. If it’s too bright it might also reflect off you computer screen or project your attending to.

-If you need the light focusing in a specific place the bendable neck lights
are very suitable. You don’t want to be staring into the bright bulb. If its an adjustable neck make sure it doesn’t get too hot to touch when adjusting it.

-Some lights have dimmers on them also which could make you selection easier to cater for more situations.

-One last tip would be to check if you could return your desk lamp if you get it home or to the office and it doesn’t fit in.
